Qantas Wine Show- behind the scences

The Qantas Wine Show was last week and what a big week. I volunteer my time and steward there in return for professional development, experience and networking. Monday we set the whole event up. Un packing lots of boxes and organising wines. Followed by a stewards BBQ at Galafrey Wines. Tuesday is day one. Each day starts at 8am to 5pm. Over 100 wines and some classes as large as 50 wines per tasting. Each night is theme wine and food paring and we all learn lots. Followed by Friday. The exhibitors tasting and lunch. A Big Week!

The Mount Barker Rec Centre is set up for the wine show. Lots of Bottles of Wine.
