I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support in the last week or so with Rural Women's Award. While I didn't come away with a win, I have learned a lot, meet some great people and had some great PR. It think it is important to participate in awards sometimes, as the award or winning the award isn't the real story. The real story is celebrating women who live and breathe in leadership roles in rural WA and contribute to their communities. I am very proud of my work and always wish I could do more. Thank You. I am blessed to have so many people believe in me and what I am doing. And a bigger Thank you to my Mum who taught me all about business and who I am in the first place. My father who taught me all about passion and hard work. My husband who taught me all about patience and relevance. And to my baby who taught me all about longevity and progression because without them what would be the point!
