All in a Day's Work- Hand Picking Pinot Noir

Last Friday we Picked our Pinot Noir and crushed it. I took some great Pictures from the day and just wanted to share them with you.

Vineyard Manager Nigel Rowe collecting the bins on the back of Ute.

Ute full of picking Bins

Vineyard manager Nigel Rowe actually picking grapes. We also picked a row of Chardonnay.

There a grape picker in there!

This is what a finish line look like in a vineyard!

The picking crew with Lomax Media. Lomax came to film us all in the vineyard doing the Harlem Shake for the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awards Night. Stay tuned for the video....

Oh and please note the wine dog who is a total tart!

Pinot being crushed and put into tank- looking good, tasting good!

The clean up!

The Shiraz Grapes waiting to be picked. Look at the difference between them and the small tighter bunches of Pinot. These Shiraz bunches look awesome and remember we are a dry grown vineyard. Nice!!
