Red purple. Cool mentholated blackcurrent with leafy savoury aromas. Well handled subtle French oak that develops a light coffee char with time in the glass. The palate shows blackberry, leaf and black olive flavours. Firm powdery tannins and good length.

The palate was straight up vanillin oak, quite chewy wood and light tannin. Quite strong grilled capsicum and some bits of blackberry and violets.

Rich deep red colour. Very enjoyable Shiraz nose reflecting nice intensity, berry spice and a smidge of aniseed. Note this was after a good couple of hours in the decanter, initially it was very closed with some spritz in the glass.
