Galafrey Wines Annual Winter Dinner…..
Well......it took a while but we finally found a great venue to have our annual winter dinner!
An intimate Degustation dinner at
No4 Blake Street- North Perth
“No4 is all about the honesty of flavour and celebration of food – dressing up great, local, seasonal produce with clever cooking techniques to make every dish complete and flavours complement. The overarching ethos is based on nose – tail eating. Nothing is wasted, nor spared. Whole animals are used, not just fashionable cuts. Nothing is ordered unless it’s seasonal. I like to know where my food comes from so supplier relationships are important to me. I want to support the local farmers that are just as passionate as I am about their produce. Of course, we offer a touch of magic during our dining experience to reflect this celebration of food and produce, but it is the honesty of the flavour, in different textures, composition and style that I want to be the star of the show” – Tom
It is this philosophy and enthusiasm from Tom that compelled us to choose No4 at Blake Street.
The dinner's sold out very quickly and we ended up doing 3 dinner's all together. Here are some photos to show you how good the food was and how great a night it was!!

The best dessert ever! Pistachio ice cream and sponge with chocolate soil and lemon curd to die for!!
Matched with our new ( and popular!) Reserve Chardonnay, Barramundi with smokey tomato sauce made from the biscque.
In house made cheese- curds and whey with beetroot. Such a pretty dish.
